Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that Al-Nassr could be his last club before retiring from professional football. The 39-year-old Portuguese forward joined the Saudi Pro League side in January 2023 after departing Manchester United and has since expressed his contentment with both the club and the country.
In an interview with Portuguese TV channel Now, Ronaldo shared his thoughts on retirement, stating, “I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire here at Al-Nassr. I’m happy at this club, I feel good in this country too.”
Ronaldo, who has scored 898 career goals, including 130 for Portugal, also confirmed his intention to continue playing for the national team. He emphasized that his decision to retire from international football will be spontaneous yet well-considered.
As the all-time leading scorer in the Champions League with 140 goals, Ronaldo is set to receive a special award from UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin to honor his remarkable achievements in the competition. Despite speculation about his future, Ronaldo remains focused on contributing to both Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team.
