Hong Kong-born center David Muoka, who currently plays in the NBA G-League, shared exciting news during a basketball event in Kowloon Tong. The 23-year-old announced that he will soon receive his Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) passport and hopes to represent Hong Kong in the Asian Cup qualifiers as early as November.

Muoka, standing at 2.08 meters, has the option to play for Nigeria, the UK, or Hong Kong. However, he expressed that his loyalty lies with Hong Kong: “I was born and raised here, and it’s only right that I give back to the place I call home.”

The basketball event, which featured NBA stars like Jusuf Nurkic and Cedric Ceballos, was an opportunity for Muoka to interact with fans and share his passion for the sport. Although Muoka teased upcoming announcements regarding his professional career, he remained tight-lipped due to a confidentiality agreement.
